Provo Skate Plaza (commonly known as the Provo Recreation Center Skatepark) is a free public, outdoor concrete skatepark located at W 650 N Street & Freedom Blvd, Provo, UT 84601. Designed and constructed by Spohn Ranch in 2013, this premier 24,000-square-foot facility sits directly on the campus of the Provo Recreation Center. Operating as an unsupervised, open-access park from sunrise to sunset, it serves as a central destination for skateboarding in Provo and the surrounding Utah Valley region. The plaza features a highly advanced, above-ground street layout engineered with a unique, sculptural design philosophy. To blend seamlessly with the urban landscape, the facility utilizes custom-tinted concrete intended to mimic the surrounding Wasatch mountain range, interspersed with integrated skatable garden beds and architectural trees. The terrain is completely optimized for technical street-plaza progression, boasting an expansive assortment of obstacles including low-impact manual pads, multi-level stair sets, flat bars, hubbas, structural handrails, bank ramps, kickers, a London gap, a distinct wallride, and outer perimeter quarter pipes. Welcoming skateboards, scooters, and inline skates, the park's flowing design provides the ultimate training ground for building lines and expanding technical tricks.
