About Layton Skatepark
Layton Skatepark is a free public, outdoor concrete skatepark located at 700 N 2200 W, Layton, UT 84041 inside the sprawling Ellison Park recreation complex. Designed by Wormhoudt, Inc. and masterfully constructed by Spohn Ranch in May 2011, this expansive facility serves as a premier action sports destination for skateboarding in Layton and the broader Davis County area. Equipped with bright overhead sports lighting, the unstaffed plaza operates daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The park's architectural standout is its massive, undulating concrete skatepark bowl complex, featuring a multi-depth snake-run style flow track complete with extensions, rolling hips, an integrated volcano, and crisp steel coping. Branching out from the transition zone is an integrated street course packed with a euro gap, kicker ramps, flat bars, handrails, and stamped concrete hubba ledges. Welcoming skateboards, scooters, and inline skates, the facility is flanked by local playgrounds, splash pads, and parking lots, making it an ideal scannable progression hub for all ages.
