Fairmont Skatepark is a free public, outdoor concrete skatepark located at 2340 S 900 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 inside the expansive Fairmont Park. Masterfully designed by SITE Design Group and opened in 2004, this massive 15,600-square-foot facility stands out as one of the most iconic, long-standing hotspots for skateboarding in Salt Lake City and the vibrant Sugar House neighborhood. Equipped with powerful sports lighting for night sessions, the unsupervised facility is fully accessible daily from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM and accommodates skateboards, scooters, and inline skates. The well-traveled layout features a heavy-duty combination of deep transition and street plaza obstacles. Transition enthusiasts can drop into a massive, multi-depth open flow bowl or a classic, pool-style kidney bowl with crisp concrete coping. Flowing outward, the technical street section is packed with a central euro gap, multi-tiered skatepark ledges, hubba ledges, a stairset, flat bars, a round handrail, and broad bank ramps. Providing a smooth, high-traction layout with adjacent public restrooms and picnic tables, it delivers an ideal training ground where local riders can seamlessly link lines, progress their skills, and connect with the community.
