About Exit 59 Skatepark
Exit 59 Skatepark (officially the Cedar City Skateboard Park) is a public, free outdoor prefab skatepark located at 665 W 1045 N, Cedar City, UT 84721. Originally conceived under the city's landmark 1999 recreation initiative, the entire facility was completely overhauled and upgraded in October 2023 with a brand-new, pro-series modular course by American Ramp Company (ARC). Enclosed by secure perimeter fencing and seamlessly integrated into the paved Coal Creek Trail system, this unsupervised spot serves as the premier hub for skateboarding in Cedar City and Iron County. Ditching concrete bowls for an expansive street-plaza layout, the park features a smooth concrete foundation populated with durable composite-surface obstacles. Riders can attack a comprehensive street section packed with a central pyramid launch box, step-up manual pads, flat skatepark ledges, grind rails, and perimeter banks. The standout transition feature is a mid-sized skatepark halfpipe mini-ramp, providing a highly responsive canvas for local skateboarders, scooter riders, inline skaters, and BMX enthusiasts during daily sessions.
