About Parkside Skatepark
Parkside Skatepark is a popular outdoor skatepark located in Camden, New Jersey. The park was designed and built by world-renowned skatepark builders, Grindline Skateparks, and opened in 2010. It is situated in the heart of Parkside neighborhood, adjacent to Parkside Elementary School and across the street from the Parkside Learning Garden. The skatepark is built on an expansive 2.4-acre site and features a variety of terrain for skaters of all skill levels. It boasts a massive bowl with pool coping and a shallow end, a snake run, a street plaza with rails, stairs, ledges, and manual pads, and a small beginners area with smaller transitions and flat ground. One of the standout features of Parkside Skatepark is its unique graffiti art murals that decorate the concrete surfaces of the park, giving it a vibrant and colorful aesthetic. The park is also equipped with plenty of benches and shaded areas for spectators to relax and watch the skaters do their thing. Parkside Skatepark is open daily from dawn to dusk, and admission is free. Helmets are required, and all skaters are required to sign a waiver before using the facility. The park is popular among locals and visitors alike, and it has become a hub for the local skateboarding community in Camden, providing a safe and welcoming space for skaters to hone their skills and enjoy their sport.
