About Woodall Neighborhood Skatepark
Woodall Neighborhood Skatepark, located inside River Bends Park at 4550 River Bends Drive, Shelby Charter Township, MI 48317, is a fenced concrete skate area featuring jumps, rails, and assorted street-style obstacles. The park first opened on July 1, 2003, giving it a long-standing place in the local scene. Over the years the ramps have fallen into very poor condition, with surface damage, exposed screws and bolts sticking out of the ground, and missing chunks of concrete making it unsafe to ride. What was once a fun neighborhood spot for skateboards, BMX, and inline skates now needs major repair or redevelopment to restore it to a safe and welcoming level.
