Hiawatha Rotary Skate Park, commonly known as Ironwood Skatepark, is a free public, outdoor action sports facility located at 421-423 S Suffolk St, Ironwood, MI 49938, inside Hiawatha Park. Serving as a neighborhood practice space for skateboarding in Gogebic County, this unstaffed city park gives local riders an accessible place to learn and progress trick lines. The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Its simple layout makes it useful for beginners and local riders practicing basic transition movement, street-style tricks, and short back-and-forth lines. The skatepark sits on a concrete pad and features above-ground masonite/steel ramp structures rather than poured concrete construction. The setup includes a spine transition, launch ramps, boxes, rails, and other slide features for both transition and street-style riding. The park sees consistent daily use from the local community, particularly teens and young riders, and is known for its accessible layout. Situated within Hiawatha Park, visitors also have access to the surrounding community green space.
