About Armada Skatepark
Armada Skatepark is a free public, outdoor concrete skatepark located at 75400 North Ave, Armada, MI 48005 inside Armada Township Park. Built by the premier builders at Spohn Ranch following nearly a decade of grass-roots fundraising and youth advocacy, this 6,000-square-foot facility is unique in Macomb County because it was specifically engineered to support and allow heavy BMX use alongside skateboards, scooters, and inline skates. The unstaffed park operates daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The architecture features a custom hybrid street-to-transition layout built around smooth, specialized in-ground concrete contours. The transition setup is anchored by an open flow section that drops from 4 feet to 7.5 feet. This flows into a street plaza section highlighted by an A-frame ramp, flat bars, a double set stair case with a hubba, downrails, and a Euro gap. As a unique local touch, the letters "ARMADA" are permanently stamped into one of the concrete banks. Sharing a 22-acre municipal property with the township fire department, visitors have fast access to baseball fields, a playground and indoor restrooms.
