Ann Arbor Skatepark (often called the A2 Skatepark) is a free public, outdoor concrete skatepark located at 350 N Maple Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103 in the northwest corner of Veterans Memorial Park. Designed by renowned skatepark architect Wally Hollyday, this world-class, 30,000-square-foot facility is recognized as a premier destination for skateboarding in Washtenaw County and the broader Midwest region. The park operates daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and features a comprehensive, community-funded evening sports lighting system. The advanced in-ground concrete layout is masterfully split between transition and street disciplines. It boasts a massive flow bowl network, a traditional kidney pool bowl with pool coping and accent tiles, a clover pool, and a lengthy snake run flow course. The street plaza section is seamlessly integrated down the slope, packed with multi-tiered Hubba ledges, a variety of stair sets with down rails, flat bars, banked gaps, a jersey barrier obstacle, and distinct rock extensions. Situated inside the fully upgraded Veterans Memorial Park, families and riders enjoy quick access to an indoor ice arena, outdoor public pools, playgrounds, sports fields, public restrooms, and ample parking.
