About Casselberry Wheel Park
Casselberry Wheel Park is a free, outdoor, all-concrete skate and bike facility spanning both sides of North Winter Park Drive just south of Belle Avenue in Casselberry, Florida. Designed and built by legendary Central Florida builders Team Pain (with Wharton-Smith as general contractor) and funded through the city's $24 million 2020 parks bond, the 10-acre, 40,000-square-foot park opened in summer 2025, with a grand opening on July 26, 2025. It's open daily 7 AM to 10 PM, and locals confirm it's lit for night sessions. The West side (952) is the main event: a roughly 10,000-square-foot snake run flowing from 4 feet to 10 feet deep with a vert wall, an 8-foot intermediate bowl with a center mogul island, and a 15,000-plus-square-foot street course loaded with stair sets, handrails, hubbas, ledges, a pyramid, and wallrides. A beginner zone with flat bars, manny pads, small benches, and curbs makes it approachable for first-timers. The East side (951) is the family zone: a skills and pump track for ages 5-12, a "Tiny Town" bike-safety course for ages 2-5, an ADA-accessible playground with adaptive equipment, and picnic pavilions. Skateboarders, BMX and scooter riders, and inline skaters of all ages share the park - helmets are encouraged, riders under 10 need supervision, and motorized devices are prohibited. Restrooms, a ceremonial lawn, and ample parking round out the site.
