Pacific Highlands Ranch Pump Track is a free public, outdoor concrete pump track located at 5977 Village Center Loop Rd within Pacific Highlands Ranch Community Park in San Diego, California. Designed and built by Spohn Ranch and opened in 2018, this 20,000-square-foot facility is considered a one-of-a-kind attraction in San Diego County, sitting beside the community's modern recreation building and just off State Route 56. The pump track is a free, non-supervised public facility open daily from roughly 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. It welcomes bikes, scooters, and skateboards, making it a versatile spot for riders of every age and skill level. The all-concrete track is a smooth, professionally built loop with marked START and EXIT points, multiple interconnected lines, rolling humps, and banked berms. The design lets riders build and carry momentum by pumping rather than pedaling, which makes it excellent for beginners learning the basics and equally fun for experienced riders chasing speed and flow. Because it is well maintained and free to the public, the track tends to draw a friendly, welcoming crowd, though it can get busy during peak times. Right beside the track are picnic tables set on a concrete pad for resting between runs. The surrounding Pacific Highlands Ranch Community Park adds a recreation center and library with an ideas lab, a gym, public restrooms, and open grassy areas. Parking is available in the community park lot a couple hundred yards away, with a short walk down past the recreation building to reach the track.
