Hyde Park Skatepark, officially Woodhouse Moor Skatepark, is a free, outdoor concrete park on Woodhouse Moor in Leeds, West Yorkshire. It's run by Leeds City Council and widely regarded as the outdoor home of the Leeds skate scene. The council built the park in 2003 on the site of six former tennis courts near Hyde Park Corner. It was intended to draw skateboarders away from the city centre's Millennium Square. The layout is a large, versatile plaza split into three well-spaced sections. It holds banks, quarters, ledges, a spine, manual pads, and rails across smooth, fast concrete. That spread suits everyone from beginners on the smaller features to experienced riders on the bigger ramps. It's a busy social hub for skateboarders and BMX riders, especially on clear summer afternoons. Set in a student-heavy corner of the city, it sits within a large park with a playground, a multi-use games area, and tennis courts. There are no on-site toilets, but free ones are nearby, with a small car park by Hyde Park Corner.
