About Astwood Bank Skatepark
Astwood Bank Skatepark is a free, outdoor skatepark in the village of Astwood Bank, near Redditch in Worcestershire. It's a public facility set within a local park. The park was given a full makeover and re-opened in 2017. The upgrade added a reinforced power-floated concrete base for a smoother ride and replaced the old metal ramps with quieter surfaces. The layout is a compact street and transition mix built around a central flat area. It holds banks, a mini ramp and quarters, a funbox, and a ledge for grinds and lines. Its smooth, mellow ramps make it approachable for beginners while still fun for more experienced riders. Skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter riders all use it. It sits alongside an outdoor gym and a children's playground within the park. Grass, mature trees, and parking surround the fenced skate area.
