About Arbroath Skatepark
Arbroath Skatepark is a free, outdoor concrete park in West Links, right by the beach on the Angus coast. The park is located near the town's seafront and holiday attractions and is known for its beachfront setting, although it can be windy at times. The park was a community-led project developed through the Arbroath Skatepark Project Club's fundraising campaign. It was built by Alex Butter Landscaping and opened in 2014. The project received support from Angus Council and other local and national funding sources. The layout combines a double bowl with a large street area, giving both transition and street skaters plenty to work with. The street section includes quarter pipes, a funbox, driveway, rails and ledges, while the bowl provides space for carving, flow and transition skating. The park has floodlights and is free to use 24/7, making it suitable for sessions throughout the day and into the evening.
