About Adrenaline Alley

Adrenaline Alley is a paid, mostly indoor action sports venue in Corby, Northamptonshire, billed as Europe's largest. It spans over 120,000 square feet across a 6-acre site and runs as a registered charity and social enterprise. It was founded in 2002 as the Corby Wheels Project by Mandy Young, after her son John, a keen skater living with a brain tumour, was attacked and had his board stolen. The family set out to create a safe place for young people to ride. The project began outdoors at Rockingham Speedway before moving into a former chicken processing factory, opening the indoor Corby facility in 2006 and later expanding into two more buildings. John died in 2010, and the venue is now described as his legacy. The park spreads multiple zones of wooden ramps and concrete street areas across its halls, with vert ramps, mini ramps, spines, bowls, foam pits, and a giant outdoor airbag. It welcomes skateboarders, BMX riders, scooter riders, and inline skaters of all levels, from complete beginners to world champions and Olympic medallists like Charlotte Worthington and Declan Brooks. On-site amenities include a SKATEHUT skate shop, a two-storey diner, a photo studio, and fitness studios. The charity has secured more than £7 million in funding over the years and now welcomes over 120,000 visits annually.
