About Vyshhorod Skatepark
Vyshhorod's skatepark serves this ancient city just north of Kyiv that was once the residence of Kyivan Rus' princesses - Olga of Kyiv, the first Christian ruler of Rus', had her court here in the 10th century. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. Vyshhorod sits above the massive Kyiv Reservoir on the Dnipro, and the Kyiv Hydroelectric Station dam is a dramatic engineering landmark. The city has grown as a Kyiv bedroom community while retaining its ancient heritage. The park draws riders from the northern Kyiv suburbs.
