About Dnipro Urban Park
Dnipro's Urban Park skatepark in Zelena Roshcha (Green Grove) serves Ukraine's fourth-largest city, a former closed Soviet rocket-building city (as Dnipropetrovsk) where the Pivdenmash factory produced ICBMs and space launch vehicles. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and rails. The city sits dramatically on high bluffs above the Dnipro river, with the longest embankment promenade in Ukraine. Dnipro has become a key volunteer and logistics hub. The park draws riders from central-eastern Ukraine. The food is eastern Ukrainian - borscht with pampushky garlic bread, salo, varenyky, and the grilled meats that are a Dnipro summer tradition along the river.
