About Skatepark Savièse
Skatepark Savièse is a concrete park in this Valais commune on the hillside above Sion. Built in 2024, the park features a bowl, ledges, rails, and quarter pipes. Savièse sits on the sunny slopes above the Rhône valley with spectacular views to the Valais Alps. The commune is known for its wine production, particularly Fendant from the steep terraced vineyards. The bisses (irrigation channels) on the hillside are historic water management systems. As one of the newest parks in Valais, it brings modern skateboarding to this wine-growing mountain community.
