About Skatepark Pratteln
Skatepark Pratteln is a concrete park in this Rhine valley town east of Basel. Built in 2017, the park features a bowl, ledges, rails, and quarter pipes. Pratteln sits at the base of the Jura mountains where the Ergolz river meets the Rhine plain. The town has a long history dating to Roman times and was an important salt mining center. Today it's a busy transport hub with connections in all directions. The Z7 concert hall here is a major venue for rock and metal music. The park serves the large residential population of the lower Basel region.
