About Skatepark Meiringen
Skatepark Meiringen is a concrete park in the town where meringue dessert was supposedly invented. Built in 2015, the park features a bowl, ledges, and quarter pipes. Meiringen sits in the Haslital valley at the base of several famous alpine passes including the Grimsel and Susten. The Reichenbach Falls where Sherlock Holmes allegedly met his end are just above town. The Aare Gorge is a spectacular narrow canyon. After skating you can visit the Sherlock Holmes museum or walk to the thundering Reichenbach Falls.
