About Skatepark Locarno
Skatepark Locarno is a concrete park in the sunniest city in Switzerland on the northern shore of Lake Maggiore. Built in 2017, the park features a bowl, ledges, rails, and quarter pipes. Locarno hosts the famous international film festival each August in the Piazza Grande. Palm trees line the lakefront promenade and the climate is genuinely Mediterranean. The Cardada-Cimetta cable car rises from the old town to panoramic viewpoints. After skating you can take the Centovalli railway through the hundred valleys to Domodossola in Italy.
