About Skatepark Kriens
Skatepark Kriens is a concrete park in this Lucerne suburb at the foot of Mount Pilatus. Built in 2016, the park features a bowl, ledges, rails, and quarter pipes. Kriens is essentially a continuation of Lucerne, sitting right at the base of Pilatus where the world's steepest cogwheel railway begins its ascent. The Krienseregg cable car station is nearby. The park serves the large population of Lucerne's southern suburbs. After skating you can ride up Pilatus for one of the most dramatic mountain panoramas in Switzerland.
