About Skatepark Carouge
Skatepark Carouge is a concrete park in Geneva's bohemian quarter, known as the Greenwich Village of Switzerland. Built in 2011, the park features a bowl, ledges, rails, and quarter pipes. Carouge was built as a rival to Geneva by the King of Sardinia in the 18th century, giving it an Italian-style grid layout with arcaded streets. Today it's the artistic and nightlife hub of the Geneva area, full of galleries, theaters, and independent shops. The Wednesday and Saturday markets are excellent. Skating in this creative quarter feels right at home.
