About Lamana Ahangama
Lamana Ahangama is a Spanish-owned restaurant and bar in Ahangama that features one of the best and biggest concrete bowls on Sri Lanka's south coast. The venue uniquely combines a proper skate bowl with a vibrant dining and nightlife scene, serving traditional Spanish dishes like patatas bravas and croquetas while local skaters session the bowl just meters away. Open daily from 4 PM to 10 PM, Lamana hosts skate jam parties on Thursdays and Sundays with outdoor DJ sets and live bands under the stars at sunset. The atmosphere is electric - on one side skaters drop into the bowl while on the other travelers grab cocktails and dance. Some of the profits from events support local street dogs. Lamana has quickly become one of the coolest hangouts in Ahangama, blending the south coast's surf and skate culture with a laid-back Mediterranean social scene that draws both riders and spectators every evening.
