Gaia Soul is a family-run guesthouse in the fishing village of Madiha on Sri Lanka's southern coast, tucked between jungle and sea, featuring an outdoor halfpipe and expanding skatepark. The main ramp measures 12 feet wide and 4 feet tall with 5-foot extensions and metal coping, built for vertical-style tricks like handplants and airs. The property has since added a brand-new expanded section with additional ramps, curbs, and lines for more varied skating. Gaia Soul hosts open skate sessions every Friday around sunset, drawing the local community together for regular evening gatherings. Listed on SKATEBNB as a dedicated skate and surf retreat, the property sits just a minute's walk from a local point break, making it an ideal base for riders who want to split their time between waves and ramps. The guesthouse offers dreamy rooms with open-air showers, hammocks, ocean-view balconies, a plunge pool, yoga studio, and rooftop juice bar alongside the skatepark - capturing the essence of Sri Lanka's south coast lifestyle.
