About Skate Park Alprem
Kamnik's Alprem skatepark serves this picturesque medieval town at the foot of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, where dramatic limestone peaks rise directly above the town's red-roofed old center. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. Kamnik's two castles - Mali Grad on a rock in the town center and the ruins of Stari Grad above - give it a fairy-tale quality. The Velika Planina alpine meadow above town has one of Europe's best-preserved herding settlements. The park draws riders from the Kamnik area. The food is Alpine Slovenian - štruklji, žganci buckwheat spoonbread, and trnič cheese from the mountain dairy tradition.
