About Krško Skatepark
Krško's skatepark serves this Posavje town on the Sava river that's home to Slovenia's only nuclear power plant - the Krško Nuclear Power Plant, jointly operated with Croatia, sits just outside town. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. Beyond nuclear energy, Krško has Roman-era heritage (as ancient Neviodunum) and sits in the warm Posavje lowlands where the first Slovenian wine cooperative was founded. The park draws riders from the lower Sava valley. The food is Posavje - potica, matevž, krškopoljski pršut (a local ham variety), and the wines of the sunny southeastern Slovenian lowlands.
