Košice's rebuilt KVP skatepark under the bridge serves Slovakia's second city - a former European Capital of Culture (2013) whose Gothic St. Elizabeth's Cathedral is the largest church in Slovakia. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, rails, and flat bars. KVP (Košice Vicinity Project) is a residential district, and the under-bridge location provides some weather protection. Košice's beautifully restored Hlavná ulica (Main Street) is one of the finest urban promenades in Central Europe. The park draws riders from eastern Slovakia.
