About Hidepark Skatepark
Nitra's Hidepark skatepark serves Slovakia's oldest city - Nitra was the capital of the Principality of Nitra, the first known Slovak political entity, and where Christianity was introduced to the Slavs with the consecration of a church in 828 AD. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. Nitra Castle on its hilltop, the agricultural university, and the Zobor hill with its hermitage traditions define the city. The park draws riders from the Nitra region. The food is western Slovak - bryndzové halušky, lokše, and the agricultural bounty of the Nitra valley, one of Slovakia's most fertile regions.
