About Bowl Modra
Modra's bowl serves this Small Carpathian wine town - one of Slovakia's most picturesque, where wine cellars line the streets and the autumn grape harvest festival (vinobranie) draws thousands. The concrete bowl features a bowl, quarter pipes, and banks. Modra is famous for its majolica pottery (Modranská majolika), a folk art tradition dating to the 17th century. The town was also home to Ľudovít Štúr, who codified modern literary Slovak. The park draws riders from the Small Carpathian wine route. The food is wine-town Slovak - lokše with goose, bryndzové halušky, and the Frankovka and Veltlín wines from surrounding vineyards.
