About Kragujevac Skatepark
Kragujevac's skatepark near Veliki Park serves Serbia's fourth-largest city - the country's first modern capital (1818-1841) and site of the tragic 1941 Kragujevac massacre, commemorated at the haunting Šumarice Memorial Park. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. Kragujevac is home to the Zastava automotive works (now Fiat Chrysler), and its university gives it a youthful energy. The surrounding Šumadija hills are considered the heartland of Serbian identity.
