About Tver Skatepark
Tver's skatepark in the City Garden serves this Volga river city that once rivaled Moscow for supremacy over Russia - the Grand Princes of Tver competed with Moscow for the right to lead the Russian lands in the 14th century. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. Tver's merchant Afanasy Nikitin made one of history's great journeys, traveling to India in the 1470s - decades before Vasco da Gama. The Catherine Palace and rebuilt Old Bridge are city landmarks.
