About Tumen Skatepark
Tyumen's skatepark on the embankment serves Siberia's oldest Russian city, founded in 1586 as the first permanent Russian settlement beyond the Urals during the conquest of the Khanate of Sibir. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. Tyumen has become one of Russia's wealthiest cities, built on the oil and gas riches of the Tyumen Oblast (which technically encompasses most of Western Siberia's hydrocarbon deposits). The restored embankment along the Tura river is the city's showpiece. The park draws riders from Western Siberia. The food is Siberian with oil-money polish - high-end restaurants alongside traditional fare.
