About Kolpino Skatepark
Kolpino's skatepark in the Culture Park serves this southern Saint Petersburg district that grew around the Izhora works - a massive industrial complex founded by Peter the Great in 1722 that produced everything from cannons to tanks. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. During WWII, the Kolpino front line held against the Nazi siege, and the town's defense is commemorated with monuments. The Izhora river flows through the industrial landscape.
