About Skatepark de Trancoso
Skatepark de Trancoso is a park in this magnificently walled medieval town in the Beira Alta. The concrete park features a bowl, ledges, and quarter pipes. Trancoso's complete circuit of medieval walls and towers makes it one of Portugal's most impressive fortified towns. The town also has an important Jewish heritage, with a former Jewish quarter and the legendary prophet Bandarra. The park provides modern recreation within view of medieval ramparts. The local smoked sausages and Serra da Estrela cheese are excellent, and the town's annual medieval fair brings history dramatically to life.
