About Skatepark de Mirandela
Skatepark de Mirandela is a park in this Trás-os-Montes town on the Tua River, heart of olive oil country. The concrete park features a bowl, ledges, and quarter pipes in the Parque do Império. Mirandela is famous for its alheira sausage (originally a Jewish creation to disguise non-pork ingredients from the Inquisition), the medieval bridge, and the excellent olive oil produced in the surrounding groves. The park provides skating in a green riverside setting. The Tua Valley railway, now partially converted to a greenway, follows a spectacular river gorge nearby.
