Skatepark Rataje is in Osiedle Rzeczypospolitej in the Rataje district of eastern Poznań, one of the city's large housing estate areas. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Rataje is a typical Polish osiedle (housing estate) with apartment blocks, shops, and schools, and the skatepark serves as an important recreation outlet for the dense residential community. The nearby Termy Maltańskie water park and the Malta Lake area offer additional recreation. There are small shops and a market within the estate, and the tram connects to Poznań center in about 20 minutes. The park complements the Wyspa park and gives eastern Poznań its own skating option.
