About Vaksdal Skatepark
Vaksdal Skatepark is on Vaksdalvegen in Vaksdal, a small industrial community in the Bergsdalen valley east of Bergen. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Vaksdal grew around the Vaksdal Paper Mill and has a compact, working-class character in a dramatic fjord and mountain setting. The Bergen Railway passes through, and the surrounding landscape of steep valleys, waterfalls, and fjords is quintessential western Norway.
