About Tana Skatepark
Tana Skatepark is at Tanabru in Tana municipality, where the famous Tana River - one of Europe's greatest Atlantic salmon rivers - flows through the Finnmark tundra landscape. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. The Tana (Deatnu) River forms the border with Finland, and the area has a strong Sámi culture with reindeer herding and salmon fishing as traditional livelihoods. The tundra landscape is vast and open, and the midnight sun and Northern Lights are spectacular. The community at Tanabru is small but serves as a crossing point and service center. One of Europe's most remote skateparks.
