About Stanghelle Skatepark
Stanghelle Skatepark is on Stanghellevegen in this small fjord community along the Sørfjorden in Vaksdal municipality between Bergen and Voss. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Stanghelle sits in a narrow valley where the Bergen Railway passes through, with mountains rising steeply on both sides. The surrounding scenery is quintessentially western Norwegian - deep fjords, waterfalls, and green mountainsides. There are basic services in the small community, and the train connects to Bergen in about 45 minutes. It's a remote, scenic park in a dramatic landscape.
