About Solberg Skatepark
Solberg Skatepark is on Solbergveien in Ås, home to the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and a research-oriented community south of Oslo. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. The university gives Ås a young, academic atmosphere, and there are student-friendly cafés and restaurants in the small town center. The surrounding Follo landscape is agricultural - Ås is essentially a university campus town set in green farmland. The park benefits from the student population, and the train to Oslo takes about 30 minutes.
