About Sødorp Skatepark
Sødorp Skatepark is on Sødorpvegen near Vinstra, the center of Nord-Fron municipality in the Gudbrandsdal valley. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Vinstra is associated with the Peer Gynt legend - Henrik Ibsen set his famous play in these mountains - and the Peer Gynt Festival is held nearby each summer with open-air performances against the mountain backdrop. The Gudbrandsdal valley here is wide and green, with traditional mountain farms clinging to the hillsides. There are basic shops and restaurants in Vinstra, and the E6 highway and railway connect to Oslo and Trondheim.
