About Skur 13
Skur 13 is an indoor skatepark at Filipstadveien 3 in the Aker Brygge waterfront area of Oslo. Opened in 2016, it occupies a converted harbor warehouse (skur means 'shed' in Norwegian) right on the Oslo Fjord. The industrial maritime setting is incredible - you're skating in a former shipping warehouse with massive ceiling height and views of the fjord through the doors. The park features wooden ramps, a street section, and flow elements. The Aker Brygge area around it is Oslo's most upscale waterfront district with high-end restaurants and the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art designed by Renzo Piano right next door. The juxtaposition of gritty skate culture in a polished harbor area is part of what makes Skur 13 special. Sessions here feel different from typical indoor parks - the warehouse scale and waterfront location give it an atmosphere all its own.
