About Setermoen Skatepark
Setermoen Skatepark is on Forsvarsveien in Setermoen, the center of Bardu municipality in Troms and home to one of Norway's largest military garrisons. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. The Norwegian Army's Brigade Nord is headquartered here, giving the town a strong military character. The Bardu valley is beautiful with birch forests, rivers, and mountains, and the Polar Zoo (the world's northernmost zoo) is in the area. The Northern Lights are magnificent here, and the midnight sun provides summer skating at all hours. Basic military town services with a few shops and eateries.
