About Olden Skatepark
Olden Skatepark is on Oldevegen in Olden, a village at the head of the Nordfjord and the gateway to the Briksdal Glacier - an arm of the massive Jostedalsbreen, mainland Europe's largest glacier. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Cruise ships anchor in the fjord and tender passengers ashore for glacier excursions, making tiny Olden surprisingly international during summer. The Oldedalen valley leading to the glacier is stunningly beautiful with turquoise glacial lakes and waterfalls. There are tourist shops and restaurants by the dock, and the natural scenery is among the best in Norway.
