About Notodden Skatepark
Notodden Skatepark is located on Merdeveien in this Telemark town that's part of the UNESCO World Heritage Rjukan-Notodden Industrial Heritage Site for its pioneering hydroelectric power and fertilizer production. The park features ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Notodden also hosts one of Europe's biggest blues festivals every August, when the small town transforms into a blues capital. Lake Heddalsvatnet is nearby, and the Heddal Stave Church - the largest surviving stave church in Norway - is just a few kilometers away and absolutely worth seeing. There are a few restaurants and cafรฉs in the compact town center.
