About Myre Skatepark
Myre Skatepark is on Storgata in Myre, the largest fishing village on the island of Langøya in Vesterålen. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Myre is a working fishing village where the fishing industry still dominates daily life, and the harbor is busy with boats during the cod season. The surrounding Langøya landscape features dramatic coastline, beaches, and mountains. The Nyksund ghost fishing village - abandoned and now partially restored as an artist community - is nearby and worth visiting. There are basic shops and a restaurant or two, and the Arctic coastal scenery is raw and beautiful.
