About Leknes Skatepark
Leknes Skatepark is on Idrettsgata in the commercial center of the Lofoten Islands, one of the most dramatically beautiful places on Earth. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Lofoten's jagged peaks rising from the Arctic sea, white sand beaches with turquoise water, and traditional red fishing cabins (rorbuer) make this an unforgettable skate destination. The nearby beaches of Haukland and Utakleiv regularly feature on lists of the world's most beautiful. There are restaurants serving fresh cod and stockfish, and the midnight sun turns the mountains gold from late May to mid-July. It's a bucket-list skatepark location.
