About Lærdal Skatepark
Lærdal Skatepark is at Øyri in Lærdal, a historic Sognefjord village famous for the Lærdal Tunnel - at 24.5 km, the world's longest road tunnel. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. The old Lærdalsøyri village has beautifully preserved wooden buildings from the 1700s-1800s when it was a major trading post. The Lærdalselvi river is one of the world's best Atlantic salmon rivers, and the Norwegian Wild Salmon Centre tells the story. The Borgund Stave Church, one of Norway's best-preserved, is just up the valley. There are guesthouses and simple restaurants in the village.
