About Kolbotn Skatepark
Kolbotn Skatepark is on Sofiemyrveien in Kolbotn, a pleasant lakeside suburb south of Oslo in Nordre Follo municipality. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Kolbotn sits on the shores of Kolbotnvannet lake, and the area has been developed with modern housing, restaurants, and cultural venues around the waterfront. The singer-songwriter Alf Prøysen grew up nearby, and there's a statue of him in town. There are good restaurants and cafés by the lake, and the train to Oslo takes about 15 minutes.
